Cooperation with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Addendum. Revised 1996 IPCC guidelines for national greenhouse gas inventories.

The purpose of this note is to provide the SBSTA with an overview of the most important revisions and additions to the IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories as approved by the twelfth plenary session of the IPCC, held in Mexico City from 11 to 13 September 1996. It also identifies issues for consideration by the SBSTA regarding
their adoption and implementation. The revised guidelines, including revisions and additions, are referred to in this document as the Revised 1996 Guidelines 4 and the original guidelines are referred to as IPCC Guidelines (1995)
